My life started out kinda crappy and I was told it was God's will. I made many mistakes in my life and suffered greatly. Many people told me it was God's will, I learned from many of my mistakes to rely on myself. I found that most things were not "God's will" but other people's will. I have the leisure of spending more of my time learning about things than struggling to survive. I am happier now and life is easier. I have everything I need including peace of mind. Is that God's will or my own. I think it is mine.

Funny thing is my life was worse with religion in it. My Aunt & Uncle abused me everyday I was in their care. They were orthodox jews, needless to say I prob spent at least 10+ hrs. a week worshipping their god. I was there with them for 6 yrs. My life got better when I ran away and did my own thing. Including becoming atheist.
I am now happilly married for 7 yrs., just had my first child 7 mos. ago. & life couldn't be better. I am a normal functioning adult who is productive, mostly well mannered and fully aware of what's going on around me.
As a child I felt lost, alone, scared & angry.

until recently yet I have been quite lucky. Good friends, good looks, good lovers and a great husband, lucky with money, healthy family members. But in the last 2 years my health seems to be weakening.

So far so good.
Besides, God is going to have to try harder to get me to believe. It takes more than a bribe to convince me of something without any evidence.

Yes, although I should point out that in this question, the term "God" has not been properly defined.
That was easy. What's the next question?

Yes, a wonderful life, thanks.
Though I'm not quite sure if I believe or not. I'm still questioning.
