If you are open minded you would.

What are you afraid of...? I bet you read a billion pointless excerpts and writings and musings in your life time including advertisements...whats a few passages from a Book of Wisdom, Knowledge, History and Prophecy gonna kill ya? After all..to the atheist..its just a book...like Larry McMurty or Hemmingway or King...like Homer's the Iliad or somethin'. If its all fiction..then whats the big diff? Yeah..gibberish my, big rosey red pa-tootie...you have no idea just how powerful the passages in the book are or the message it conveys...you will never know as you stew in your own ignorant scoffing juices. Scrutinize the thing you criticize then you may have a fact based opinion..otherwise you are nothing more than a cage rattler. Love in Christ, ~J~ <><

seem on the guidelines of physics. that's fairly staggering that we are able to describe many phenomena and appropriately expect the way the universe works. notwithstanding our awareness many be very constrained, we nevertheless have some actual guidelines that instruct that the nature of the universe in no longer random. take under consideration gravity; isn't it a touch arbitrary that one of those stress exists, that mass bends area-time, that angular momentum should be conserved? All of those guidelines are philosophical data that the universe isn't random, yet run by some type of layout; call it what you'll. If the "clothier" cares about you I abstain to say, yet i imagine that's irresponsible to outright deny the existence of layout in our universe. i'm hoping my writing is coherent sufficient to understand. If no longer, possibly i'm in simple terms finished of ****.

without previewing anyone else's questions or answers, here's my sole opinion. what business does an atheist have with this section of "answers"? i'm atheist, though i've read the bible several times. i've also studied half a dozen other middle eastern and asian beliefs. i consider atheists relatively smart enough to be skeptical and use scientific reasoning with their judgements to direct thier thoughts and actions. would it be incorrect to assume the plurality of society has been shaped to conform within guidelines defined by religion? does your question really matter? i hope some atheists would applaud my outspoken answer to this question and be able to relate.

I am a Catholic, and I don't read it. If someone wanted to read a Bible, they would take it and read it. People are on this site because they want to hear other people's opinions, not some mile-long readings.

Maybe read it to see if it speaks to you, that's probably fair... but if it doesn't mean anything to you... then just move on.
