THe unhealthy way is to drink energy drinks i.e. Redbull, amp, or even soda. Coffee works to. The healthy way to give you energy is to eat lots of fruit because fruit is full of complex cards that will give you a lot of energy. Bread is also a good alternative.

Well, just try to get up and move around a bit - exercise or walk around the house. Drinking something will help, but make sure it's hot because the harder it hits you, the more awake you will be.

If the call is really important you will need nothing to keep you awake. An apple can really keep you awake any way.

Caffeine will keep you awake but not necessarily lucid. Try marching in place and turning on some music that gets you going. The Rocky theme song is always good. Just make sure you know where the mute is to mute it when your phone rings. Also, make sure your lights are on and bright. Dim lights will make you sleepy.

Sleep with the phone by your head. Or if you are a heavy sleeper, go get a mountain dew soda...caffeine of any kind usually does the trick though.
