No don't do that. The best thing to do is let the conditioner soak through your hair about 2-3 minutes before you rinse. But make sure you rinse all the shampoo out thoroughly before applying conditioner. Secondly, a lot of people think its not good to use conditioner every day, but it's actually really good for your hair, but I suggest getting a really decent conditioner and just using it sparingly every day (less then a dime size) - and don't apply it to the roots.... Personally, I use a conditioner by Umberto and I love it..it has really improved the feel and look of my hair (I had dried hair and lots of split ends) without making my hair overly thin or oily feeling.

yes it is ok to leave your conditioner in over night depending on how bad the damage is. You should try getting a special deep conditioner like cholesterol or Biolage hydratherapie(that's what I use). You shouldn't do this every night but maybe once a week or every other. It's also good to add a little heat while conditioning, you could try getting one of those special dryer hoods that they sell at Sally's(or try your local beauty supplier). Be sure to cover your hair before you put it under the dryer(a shower cap will do). You may also want to try a leave in conditioner for daily use in between treatments. I use Enfusium 23.

Hi my hair is really dry due to too using my straigtners too much and too much hair dye!! I always worry that my hairs gonna fall out, so when its really bad i leave a normal conditioner on over night and in the morn rinse it out then wash my hair as normal, I've noticed such a difference its helped so much my hair is soft and shiny but also feels great, people have even said how good it looks.

I saw a show . Conditioner will not damage your hair . And their is some to leave in you might want to try . Best though is to go to one of the beauty supply stores . I can not remember the name of the product but I know their is a few out there like that . You will not get them in a drug store . They are actual night time leave in treaments that they recomend you use a silk cap over while sleeping. My haor was damaged from bleaching ...it seemed to of doen the trick

no, it's best to put a conditioner on for about 30-45 min. with a plastic cap, or plastic grocery bag. the body heat warms the conditioner to open the cuticles and allow it in. try this a couple of times a week to see if this helps.

I've done it before if my hair was very damanaged, but you may only want to add it to your ends, especially if you have an oily scalp. For daily maintenance, my hair stylist recommended to not fullly rinse the conditioner out of your hair when you wash.

It may not help any more than leaving it on for several minutes, but it can't hurt anything. Just secure it in a shower cap so it doesn't catch on anything because hair is more prone to break when wet.

Not regular conditioner, no.
However, there are several types of "leave-in" conditioner, that are designed to stay in your hair overnight. Use one of those. (John Frieda, Pantene Pro-V, etc.)
