If you were born in the U.S., then yes: YOU are a citizen. However if MOM was NOT a naturalized ( legal ), U.S. citizen--still a Canadian resident who gave birth to you IN the U.S., then she is NOT a legal U.S. citizen and would have to apply for legal citizenship.

A citizen of canada? If the same rules apply then you would have citizenship cause your parents were canadian citizens.
