When you feel it's time for them to leave the nest. And when they are able to fend for themselves in this world.

It depends on a variety of factors.
1- can he support himself?
2-are you driving each other crazy?
3-is he being lazy and just relying on others to take care of him?
4-does he have medical/psychological needs that require parental support?
5-do you/he feel it is time?
6-is he working towards a goal that requires him to live at home?

If you feel it is time, IT IS!
