go to summer school and get the xtra credits you need. that means every summer. my daughter is going into 9th grade and she is a straight A student, she took summer school anyways for a credit. so now she is ahead a credit. its not just because you fail a class anymore.

You can take night courses, weekend courses, online and summer school. If you're really determined to graduate find out what courses you still need and take those. You can't complete a grade but you can complete 1-2 classes in summer. And if you already take music lessons outside school, check what level it is because those can go towards your high school credit count as well.

Don't take the GED. To most people, that does not look good. You can't get some jobs if you only have a GED, you can't join the military, etc. Summer school usually doesn't allow you to graduate early. My understanding was that summer school allowed people who failed classes to make them up. The only people who I ever knew to graduate early were people who were extremely extremely smart. I would not recommend attempting to graduate from high school early. Unless you are going to attend college, you will have one more year of working at a crappy, thankless, futureless, low-paying job. Stay in school. It may suck at the time, but when you are an adult, you will wish you had as much education as possible.

Sonya Arrieta is correct. Do the extra work, go to summer school. Don't cry or whine. At least in most cases you got air conditioning.
Study hard, don't use your extra time for clubs and jobs. Maybe join one or two clubs but not more than that. Remember you're trying to make the very best use of your time. And get books on HOW to study. Work smart not always so hard. Get enough sleep. If you short yourself on sleep you can't remember, that's been researched and proven. Eight hours, at least.
You might spend some money on Sylvan to help you study, that will get you the grades. There's no use hurrying if you do a bad job. I wish you success and happiness.

I was able to utilize a program in which students can take classes at a community college for free and get high school and college credit. Though I walked with my class at graduation and got my diploma, I got my Associates degree at the same time.

Ok, this varies from school to school and state to state. Your best bet is to ask your guidance counselor. They will know for sure.
In NY you need to meet the number of requirements for a diploma which means challenging classes (taking the state mandated final exam and passing with an 85%) and taking classes during breaks. We can't take summer school (at least at my school).
Also, why do you want to graduate early? Going to college at 17 means that you will have less fun (you won't be allowed in a lot of places) and that you won't be as mature as your peers. Plus, you'll be called jail bait. Instead, I'd recommending you taking hard high school classes and staying for all four years. Senior year is too fun to skip!

You usually only take one or two classes during the summer. It is mostly for people who failed during the past year. It is very hard to graduate early from high school. Take your time and don't graduate early if you can help it.

To graduate early, you would either have to go to summer school and get those credits or take classes online and get needed credits. then you can graduate when you hve all the credits you need.

If you want to graduate early, take the GED exam. Then you can move on to college, which is a lot better than HS..!!
