My cat doesn't like to go up on couches or beds?? why???

I wish my cat would cuddle with me but he doesn't like going on couches or beds he likes he cat tree though....

Some cats are just like that. My cat Marcie will let you pet her until the cows come home, but don't you dare pick her up. She doesn't like that at all.

Cats have distinct personalities, sometimes as distinct as human personalities. Along with those personalities come likes and dislikes. Your cat might think that couches and beds are too soft, and prefers the carpeted toughness of his cat tree instead. It could be a ton of reasons why your cat likes his cat tree better than your bed, but it's up to you as his owner/servant to figure it out.

consider yourself lucky...My cat climbs everywhere..I have literally brought guests to the dining room for a dinner party and there is the cat on the table!

try sitting on the ground on a pillow and loving him there!
if you got him as an adult cat the former owners might have hurt him everytime he got on the furniture, or maybe hes just strange, lol :-) good luck
