You can get a paralegal certificate at those easier wannabe colleges you see on tv (the ones that train nurses in 5 months for ex) It only takes a few months to get it, but I would hire a college grad over somebody who chose the easier route.

it is better that you go to college and if you don't wanna drive you can always do it online I am becoming a parlegal online through ashworth college
