It's good that you are seeking ways to spark the fire back into your lives. Most people just let it die then find someone else to satisfy their needs. I was in the same boat as you and looked into Tantra. I am not a weirdo and don't know anything about eastern religions and all, but I looked into Tantra and bought some books and began to practice the sensual things they teach to spark a relationship. Soon my wife got interested in the book and she started initiating things with me, which she had never done before. It is an idea, whatever you do, never give up. Good Luck

i have also been married for 8 years, and let me just say that there are hills and valleys in every relationship...it takes work to keep the fire going...make a point to go out on dates together at least once a week...my favorite thing to do with my husband is go into a bar by myself and sit down and have a drink and chat with others...then my husband will come in, pretending that we don't know eachother....and he will pick up on me...VERY fun!

8 years and you're already in a rut?My wife and I has been married for 20 years,and we're still dating!sex is still exciting like it was the first time.Why not go out together more often(minus the children of course) woo her once again.I know, I know, its sounds corny but try it anyway.works with me!

You should surprize your partner with something that they really like like if its a girl bring her flowers and if its a guy bring him home chocolates or something he likes, try candles to spark a relationship, go out on dates, try something together like rock climbing or something like that

Spice it up, do something to realy shock her. Spread rosepetals around her home light candles or do something realy fun for girls totaly pampure her for a night or something that is very sexy.
