Depends on how Atheism comes about. If it takes on the same pattern as religion, then I am afraid.
To me, non-belief in god does not mean non-belief in being good to your fellow human. It does not mean you have to give up belief that there is more than we could possibly know.
Atheism or agnostic should not take on a new societal sect. It should be personal and not a group effort and should not ban people from their spirituality.
Believe in what you will, but stop shoving it in everyone's face. Think for yourself and start believing that the human race must save the human race - not an invisible non-existent being that will lay waste to countless souls for being human....a loving god would not do that. Stop making such a benevolent being such a murdering nut case!

Nah, more room in heaven for me. But seriously, if that is true and 2000 years is how long atheism has had to conquer religion (which is actually your inference for Christianity) it sure is moving slow. Last time I checked more people still believe in God (77-80%) than don't. So good luck... you will need it cause without God its all you got. Oh and horses...still see them around...

I'm afraid of your spelling and grammar, but what will be will be; it doesn't change my beliefs, nor does it make me "afraid".

I assume from your inference that you believe we should all be atheists and that if we are not we are not "progressive". That sounds regressive not progressive. And has been a common enough theme historically.

Our societies morals and values continue to decline in direct relation to our lack of religion. Disproving your statement.

Atheism a one religion? You,atheists, need to argue that among yourselves because some of ur sects disagree. Religion is man made and destined to be Hell bound. I Fear NOT You,Life nor Death! Do you have the BALLS to say that?

As thrilled as I could ever be. The church needs to be taken out of peoples minds and let them think on their own. Once people can think for themselves, I belive that people will start to accomplish more in a positive direction. religion is just a mass brainwashing of its congreation.
