You and I. It is everyone who wants to get a bargain price through competitive economics. The companies that go to these great lengths do so to make profits for their stockholders, yes, but ultimately, they make money because people buy their stuff. The consolidation and centralization of systems has taken us away from the sources of the things we buy so that we don't see or control what methods are used to produce. It is up to us to buy less, buy local, and know who we pay to do things for us. We can't do that if we continue to feed money into centralized processes in obscure towns and cities where we never see the owners and their employees never see the light of day. Government regulations simply add to the costs, which increases the incentive to cut labor costs (or bribe the government). Most laws are actually written by lobbyists nowadays, so when the government passes a law 'restricting' illegal hiring, it is usually written to 'restrict' it to a level that the corporate campaign donors feel is acceptable. The blind faith in 'systems' is what is at fault. The solution is to only do business at pitchfork length. This sometimes will involve sacrifices, and if some things slip through, well that's ok. Unfortunately, the locally manufactured or processed purchase is the exception today.

I say all of those but in the following order:
1. The employers of illegal immigrants.
2. The American government for not strictly enforcing the immigration laws that we already have.
3. The governments of the immigrants' home countries.
4. The illegal immigrants, themselves.
and,
5. The citizens of the USA for allowing the government of the USA to ignore the illegal immigrant problem all these years and not bring this issue up as an election agenda item before now.

First of all, I am appalled that someone would specifically target those of Mexican decent. Yes, many immigrants are Mexican, but not anywhere close to the majority. That shows ignorance and racism.
Second of all, the only people who have a right to be here (if you want to get right down to it) are the indigenous peoples of Northern America.
Third, our counrty's economy would be greatly harmed if all the illegal immigrants were forced to leave. Not only do they do jobs that very few of us would agree to do, but they also pay taxes!
Immigration is not the problem. Racism is. The government says that fixing the supposed "immigration problem? will help fight the "war" on terror. However, the laws specifically attack hispanic immigrants. Last time I checked, there were more white terrorists threatening the U.S. than hispanic.

I regret to say that when my fathers sold Manhattan for $26 without requiring a "green card", visa, or sponsored work permit, things pretty much went down hill. It's not so much that illegals are taking jobs away from Americans. It's that Americans are not willing to get out from behind an ibox, or TV, or PC and work. When America returns to the time when every one wanted to work and were willing to take any kind of job to make some money, then things will change. Until that happens, I say, "Let whoever will work, work." Go back to the time that the only drugs were cigarettes and moonshine and chewing gum, and get a grip on what really matters in this life, and quit spoiling ourselves and our kids, and perhaps, just perhaps, there would be no need for illegal anything.

The govt implements these laws but they are IMPOSSIBLE to enforce. How can they possibly secure the borders, do you have any idea how large the border is??! Its huge.
I would say the only way to prevent illegal immigration is to penalize the employers. I guess they would have to create a new agency to go and monitor business to make sure people have their papers and are legal. I
I feel if they did this the problem would decrease. So I say it is employers who are hiring them and BREAKING the law, make them responsible....Why don't I hear any of you saying that EMPLOYERS ARE CRIMINALS???
To me they are the truly evil one's...They hire these peasants for slave labor and exploit them and make huge profits! I see million dollar homes being built in my community and guess who is doing all the labor? The illegals! All the while, these 'builders' are laughing all the way to the bank! its sickening!

Which group is MOST responsible? Why the illegal immigrants who willingly break the law, of course. There is a process. Many, many folks follow that process of becoming naturalized every year. Understood that the process is backlogged and should probably be overhauled for faster processing....but the illegals must become legal in order to stay. My opinion.

I think all Americans are guilty. We just sit back and do nothing about it. We're even having to learn their language. As Americans, we should step up and reject illegal immigration. Don't let them work and certainly don't let them on welfare. And for all those who are dying to write a comment to me about immigration- I have nothing against LEGAL immigration. Just make them go through the proper channels.

When we elect leaders, we have expected that they would enforce the laws and protect us from invasion of any kind. This has not happened. E-mail your Senators and Congressman and tell them exactly what you expect...and that you also expect action against illegals who are here. You expect action against the employers of illegals, McDonald, Home Depot and all others listed on wehirealiens.com.
Finally, they need to clearly understand we DEMAND A BORDER THAT IS SECURED WITH FENCE...AND, IF NECESSARY, MILITARY TROOPS.

IMO, I say it's the illegals own country for not caring about it's citizens, and partially the citizens fault for letting it get that way...
Just like it is our fault our government, for the most part, don't care about us anymore.
