Wouldn't you like to be free of the Common Cold, Pneumonia, allergies, strep throat and the flu? Why isn't a trust fund made to cure it for good? I haven't had chicken pox since my tweens(A very LONG time ago). I don't recall the last time I had a shot for it. Shouldn't colds be the same way?

Colds are caused by thousands of different viruses that mutate almost monthly. Once you found the cure for one, it will have already mutated. Since colds are mostly harmless giving us a few days off work or school, there are more urgent needs for the money.

Good Idea though!

Why indeed, but sadly the common cold can be caused from more than 45 different viruses. Virtually a difficult task. Although it makes one miserable rarely life threatening

No one can cure the flu. its a mutating virus. so even if you've been innoculated against it, its last year's strain you're immune to.
