I flunked parallel parking on my driver test, I passed, but only with a 75. I took it when your parents were probably still in school and I haven't really mastered it yet. I have only had to do it a few times though. So it was important for the test, but no so much afterwards (of course it would be different if I lived downtown in a major city). The easiest thing for me was to step on the gas, I was a bit of a lead foot, and occassional I still am. I found the driver's written test to be pretty simple. It's all laid out in the booklet.
For the Behind the Wheel Exam: Practice your parallel parking, after you put on your seat belt on lean forward and look to make sure the instructor is wearing his seat belt. Let him see that you are doing it. For me the test was a just an around the block thing. The instructor paid especial attention to how I signaled, if I looked back or not, if I adjusted my mirrors before I started. When you think about it he can only grade you on those things that he sees, like if you put your hands at 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock on the steering wheel. So when you do something make it clear to them that you are doing it.
Good Luck on the test; and please try and obey the speed limit. I didn't when I was young and got several tickets for it. Teenagers are known for driving too fast so the cops will be watching for you. Just to keep your wallet intact take it easy on the gas.

The hardest part of driving is being stuck in traffic, also paying for the gas. The best part, driving a convertible sports car on the highway with the top down, JUST a bit over the speed limit. :)

The hardest part of Dirving for me is sitting in heavy traffic for hours on end moving at a snail's pace and going nowhere fast.
Best part of driving is the freedom of the open road, the exhilaration of knowing that you can go anywhere faster than you can on public transit. Also the freedom to choose where you want to go and what time you want to get there as well as not being tied down to a pre-set route like a bus.

The hardest part is paying attention to your driving and being a good driver. Stay of the cell phone and try not to watch the babes.
The best part is when your car gets you to where your going without breaking down.

The hardest part is driving in icy conditions with other people who have no clue about how to do it. It is a very dangerous condition to be in. The best part is carving some twisty back roads on a nice day with little traffic. It doesn't get any better than that.

The hardest part for me is parallel parking and trying to drive a stick shift (I just can't do it I have tried multiple times to learn and just stall the can tons of times before I can get it to move but once in motion I have no problems). The best part is being able to go where ever you want when ever you want without asking for rides.

The greatest advantage of being able to drive is the mobility and independence it gives you. I don't have to worry any more about returning home late from parties or a late night movie show. Just get into your car, lock yourself in and drive home. No being dependent on anybody to escort you home at a late hour.
The most frustrating is rash and irresponsible drivers around you.
The hardest part about driving is in keeping YOUR road rage under control.
Be a safe driver.

The HARDEST part is DRIVING FOR OTHER DRIVERS as in Defensive Driving. I've nver hit anyone since I got my license 13 yrs ago. But, I've been hit by people driving on the wrong side of the road or drunk. The BEST part is FREEDOM (you can come & go as you please) and regardless of gas prices it's Cheeper to gas your own car instead of someone elses.
