There are many things they can do. Computer programmers, Computer architect (computer hardware stuff), computer networking, database programmer, and computer security officer. These are just some of the possibilities. I double majored in computer science and math when I was in university. I graduated about 8 years ago and I am a web developer now.

Most modern computer science majors are also taking Electrical Engineering. So they will continue to pursue a career in a field in EE. Most likely attempt to get a job at a high tech corporation such as: Intel, Microsoft, AMD, Silicon Valley, etc.

I work in a retail company, we hire computer science major graduates to work in our ICT division. their work actually varies, some are developers, some system support while others are also network administrators. I think you just need to master one area in order choose what field you want to go into.

I'm not sure they ever graduate. I have seen the same one around campus for four years and he shows no sign of getting closer to graduation.
