Okay people i hope you can help me, ok lets see
its 2.4 GHz (whatever that means)
and its a red EXI7246G (whatever that means!)
haha and my dad just bought it like, yesterday and i plugged it in and i couldnt hear the dialtone!i still cant! and the worst thing is, i lost the instructions! ( bad day eh), anyways, if anyone knows what i should do, or where i can get the owners manual, id be REAAALLLY happy!

Odd that Uniden's website says the manual is currently not available. I would make sure the phone charger is plugged into power and the phone is fully charged and double check that the phone cord is plugged into the base securely. If the phone won't show anything on the display then there's a phone or battery problem. if the display seems okay but still no dialtone, I'd check things out with a different phone cord or a different phone jack.
Their website doesn't really give to much information, so it's tough to figure out where the problem might be.

Maybe the phone isn't charged. Maybe no tone to that line. Get a good old analog phone and plug it in to the jack and see if you have tone.
