If you are calling from your local calling area, you will not pay more to call a local number. Your friend may have to pay a roaming charge to use their phone out of the local area. If their phone number is a local call from your home, you will not pay extra, no matter where the system forwards the call!

It depends on their plan and how many miles away from home or which states it covers. If they have a very limited plan, then yes, it will cost both you and them more, as the cell will be in roaming territory.

depends on thier plan... if they are out of range they will have a roaming charge. It will not cost you as long as you are in your range. It will not cost you at all from your home phone. Send them a text and ask them if they are roaming... if not your good to go!

I was in vegas last week and a friend called me, I talked for about 20 minutes and it cost me $60.00.... so be careful!
