The question shouldn't just pop out of nowhere, you have to have the conversation lead up to it. Find out what you both like to do and ask her if she'd like to do it with you.

Make it subtle. If she likes you then you shouldn't have to ask a random pool of people online. Have a suggestion of something you should do, make an offer, etc. etc.
