Because maybe you spend more time with her. He still shouldn'e be like that though. Tell him to get over it and deal with it cause friends are forever and it's not changeing for anything

He must feel like you are giving more time and attention to your friend. Or some men are just jealous by nature. Let him get to know your friend so he can see why you hang out with her, maybe that will help him to understand.

Maybe you spend more time with your g/f than with him? Maybe he is a budding control freak who wants you to not have any friends or social life so he can be the center of everything. Maybe he's afraid you'll talk about him and he wants to know what you are saying? Maybe he used to date her and is afraid you'll compare notes?

Also other girls have a bad tendency to inaccurately characterize they're friends boyfriends so maybe he is also a little scared.

because men are babies and if your giving all your time and attention her then he is feeling lefted out and abandoned try to tag him along when yall are hanging out sometimes so he can stop acting like your doing somethin wrong by hanging out with your friend
