I have seen passports from about 50 different countries and they all appeared to be the same size. As I understand it using a standard size aids in the rapid processing of people through customs. As you probably know they do come in different colors

Yes, even the US passport changed in size. The British passport is larger than the US. Even the colors may vary. US diplomatic passports are different from an ordinary citizen. Chinese Passports are brownish but about the same size as the US.

I think they are all the same size. The US and Mexican ones are the same size and look similar.

On the most part it seems like they don't, but Australia's is bigger than the usual.
