Hey, I know what he is going thru..
This will work.... It is a Creme called LAMISIL.
with terbinarn, hydrochloric 1%
In the U.S. it might have a different name, but if you take this to the drug store you should be able to get it..
---------------------------------------------
wash the feet in a warm pan of water with about 4 table spoons of clorox.... Soak the feet for about 10 minutes,, dry them and then put the LAMISIL on them.
Make sure that you wash your hands also. DO NOT TOUCH YOUR BODY PARTS..
I live in the tropics and this in the only thing that works here.
Wash your socks and towels ,, Do not let any other person touch them.. Wear Flip Flops in the Shower.. Wash the Shower down with Clorox
You take care..

Dakin Solution is good for most fungal infections.
It is water with 1/4 part bleach to 3/4's part water. As you can see a mild solution. But first try to get the open sores healed try using cortizone cream sold over the counter. If this does not work he will most likely have to see a MD for a cortizone shot which is stronger than the cream. Good Luck!

Don't play around and go get some Lamisil pills. I played around with creams for years and took 12 weeks of pills, I had itch-free feet for many years. The nails take a while to grow, but when they do, they come in nice and new, not ugly like before.
Expensive, but worth it.

The best treatment for what you're describing would probably be Lamisil cream. If Lamisil doesn't work after a few weeks than your hubby definitely needs to see a doctor.

Desolve asprin in hot water and soak his feet in that. It will burn but it dose the trick for jungle rot. My father got the rot in Georga at the barecs before the when he was in Basic Training for Korea the camp Medic told him to use asilasalic acid in hot water. That is asprin.
I am not a Dr so if you do not want to try this that is cool by me.

Try using Lotrimin AF for the feet and hand. I think the nails need a prescription to kill the fungus.

nothing can live in bleach, Clorox. I would water it down before putting my foot in it. I've used it and it works' quickly. The toe nail is another problem however, I think.
