tell me how you feel every night going to bed without asking forgiveness from the LORD for the sin you have done that day?

I sleep much better and go to sleep quicker when I do ask for forgiveness. Everyone sins everyday so it should be a daily ritual to pray for forgiveness!

Rather inflammatory question. I will do my best to answer with civility. I think God is more interested in me learning how to forgive myself for my misdeeds. Yes I obviously believe in a forgiving God. My stumbling block is that when i mess up I refuse to let go of the mistake and move on. I rest fairly easy each night. I go to bed remembering that I have done my best. And I ask for help to do better where I have messed up.

You sound like you are covering for a man that beats you.
Why would you think you have done something so bad you have to be forgiven? An to think you have to do this every day. You make your self sound like bad people to me.
I myself do the best every day that I can and I am not ashamed of my life and feel no need to ask for forgiveness from anyone be it real or a fairytale god.
If your god makes you feel that bad and low of your self that you have to beg for forgiveness every day and all the time I feel sorry for you.
Please get out of that mess before it is too late and your mental health is damaged.
It is not right for someone to live like that. Get help.

Since I do not believe in the Christian god or sin, this isn't an issue for me. For example, is it an issue for you that you do not pray to Taranis (Gaulish storm deity) for protection and blessings during thunderstorms (I always do this)? You probably do not even think about it because you do not believe in Taranis and it is not a part of your religious beliefs. That is the same way that I feel about asking the Christian god for pardon from sin. Although Christianity may be the right path for some, it's concepts are foreign to me and I would have no reason to pray to a deity of another religion. Would you pray to deities of religions that you didn't practice? Me neither.

I can't do it. Even if I don't think I have sinned, I still ask God to search my heart for anything I might have done wrong and ask Him for His forgiveness. God is so loving and merciful, so I also make sure to thank Him for all the blessings I've got in this life.

How whould you feel if you spent the whole day with someone not saying a word to you and right before the went to sleep the say forgive me for the stuff I did this day? Talk to God all day and if you forget becuase your tired he let it slide. Gods not as picky as me. Thank God. I don't really think you need to worry if you forget now and again God more worried about your heart than your prayers. So pray from your heart.

Sometimes I feel I've sinned to bad to ask for fogiveness, other times I just fall asleep before I can. Either way I find great comfort praying at night before I sleep and almost alone when I don't.

Well, I do try to say the Lord's Prayer every night, but some times I'm asleep before I finish. I try to catch up in the morning. We should also express gratitude for our blessings.

Sin can only exist in the context of there being a God to offend. There is no God, therefore I do not sin and have no need to ask his/her/its forgiveness.

i feel fine ...when i lay my head down on my pillow with my beautiful baby girl beside me snuggled up telling me I'm her favorite how could i think of any thing else....any way the only people i ask for forgiveness would be my husband if i mess up with him or my kids if i lose my temper with them ...i need forgiveness from no one else......but if it makes you feel better when you go to sleep tonight and ask your lord for forgiveness you can say a prayer for my lost sole that will be condemned to hell
