what should i do??

a) keep applying the medication as ordered

b) put on twice as much medication

c)not apply the medication, but inform the nuse in charge

d)not apply the medication, and NOT inform the charge nurse

ok, for all the little "sarcastic" comments with the answers..i would like to inform you all that i am taking a Med Aid class and we have to have proof of looking this up...we don't have this in our book that we are using...and i don't see the reason why an online forum is a bad idea...i am getting help on homework! i knew that "c" was the best answer..of course you tell your charge nurse, but sometimes you do continue applying medication, because some medications do make your skin red and itchy!!! but THANKS for everyone's help

You should really do your own homework...........I take it you aren't a nurse. Don't apply the medication, but inform the nurse in charge.

call the DR... I am sure they have a 24 hr line for qUESTIONS SUCH AS THESE.. interesting that MR. was GREEN to begin with Hmmm

stop taking Mr. Green places that can cause him harm. You need to be nicer to Mr. Green.. show him some love not infecting hatredness.......

i would poor some hydrogen peroxide if bubbles then its an infection if not see a doctor o the white stuff is a chemical your body puts out to get rid of infection
