To tighten the tummy there are two simple things. The first is to do "crunches" and the second is a small roller device that you can buy
for very little money at any sporting goods store. It looks like a little wheel with handles on the side. Follow the directions on the box (it's an easy exercise) and you'll soon tighten yout tummy. For hips, I think just a small reduction in calories along with an a litlle more exercise may do the trick. Also, instead of eating 3 meals a day, eat the same amount of food, only spread over five meals. This will speed up your metabolism and shrink your stomach...Good Luck!

The cheaper Tony little machine,Ive got one and have it parked in front of the tv .I lost about30 lbs doing 15 to 30 minutes a day

try a bunch of different things at the gym. I do all of them within a week, you never really know which one is doing what but you should manage to get all your muscle groups if you try the treadmill, eliptical, arc trainer, etc.

The ball is good for abdominal exercises, or try pilates... it's a very core oriented program. You can probably get a video from the library or on-demand.
