Im getting this message: "this windows version is not genuine, you may be a victim of software counterfeiting" and it doesnt go out. Is it possible that the windows version installed on my computer is not genuine? how do I get rid of this message?

Congratulations you have been WGA'd.... As in Microsoft's anti piracy effort:

Windows Genuine Advantage!

Bet ya didn't know Microsoft had your computer to phone home details about who you are and what software you are running!

The latest update was for "Windows Genuine Advantage" which is MS's way of tracking down counterfit installations of it's products.

You should try to find out where you bought your computer, and where the copy of Windows came from. It's possable that the recent update made a mistake. It's also possable that an improper licence number was used without malice. (a small store not knowing that the copy of windows they bought was counterfit)
