At first I thought she was just being playful but now I know she means it. Clearly she is in love with the personality she has made up about me since she doesn't even know me. I think I might like this girl when we meet but it's impossible to tell that untill we do. When I thought she was being playful she asked me to say it back and I did. What should I do now. I don't want to hurt the girl and tell her she can't love me yet. Should I just meet her and hope I'm the person she thinks I am?

if u talk to her again, she'll be sure to mention it again, rite? maybe you can say how she seems kewl, or whatever, and if you're serious about it, then let her know that you would like to get to know her, to see just how much you really could love her... idk, i mean, hey, i love you too, but i dont know you either!!! plus, idk how guys work, but at least for me (and i'm assuming your lil' friend) i can "T" Totally fall for someone w/out meeting 'em ever... girls are more likely to be romantics and all that crap, so it's easier for us to get all swept away. if this gal is serious about it all, take it gently on her, for pete's sake, but honesty is def'ly the best policy!

okay well be careful especially online you have no idea what this girl is like. IF you meet her maybe she'll change her mind about you but you never know. and never say i love you back to them if you don't mean it. because if you don't mean it and she notices you'll hurt her. just say something else besides i love you too just say see ya sweetheart. IF you guys meet she'll find out your real personality and maybe get to know the real you a little bit more. IF you guys meet don't make any remarks about love at all just enjoy your time. when she sees the real you she most likely will change her perception on you but just a little bit. because talking online is a lot different than talking to someone person to person.

good luck check ya later ♥

Tell her you feel you've both gotten ahead of yourselves and you think you both need to take a step back, get to know each other. After that, if you like her then make plans with her to see each other again before the date is done. She'll feel at ease knowing you're not just trying to back out. If you don't like her then leave it open ended and keep things light from there on out. If she crys uncontrolably and says she can't live without you, RUN!!

some people find it easier to fall in love with someone than others do. and it may be very real for her or at least she thinks it is, don't hurt her feelings, you can scar her for the rest of her life, it won't take long until she is on to a new love and you will be a better person for sparing her feelings. it doesn't take anything to be a good person.

I can't believe your told her that you love her back. You may have just dug your own grave, dude. I don't want sound rude, but, this girl sounds like stalker material. You don't just say " I love you," to some one, especially if you've never met. I would be worried about what happens if you meet her. She may flip out if you're not what she envisioned or, even worse, you are what she wants but you aren't into her. Proceed with caution, my friend

shes not in love with the personality she made up about you, she's in love with the personality you have shown her.
so if ur playing a different person when ur chatting with her then she's in for a rude shock when she meets you. However if you have been truthful about who you are, your opinions, lifestyle and personality and she has done the same, when u meet you will get along great. many internet relationships work. ive had friends move to America and Ireland from Australia to meet people they met online and the relationships are still going strong.....but it comes down to truth from the start.
ohh and who's to say what love really is???? do u have to be in the same room as someone to love them????

well if you met online i wouldn't meet her just yet get to know her but dont tell her i want to have sex or anything of that guy typical stuff if you thinks shes hot or fine or whatever dont tell her that tell her you think shes beautiful that's what a girl want to hear! and just incase its not a prank tell her to send pics of herself to you and make sure to menchin you dont fall in love very easily with someone you just met so she wont get the wrong idea since you said you loved her too but in the playful way or watever

Good luck and tell me what happens!

Don't tell her you love her it's a test that no man can pass it is kind of like a trick question stay away from that type of woman.

You need to tell her how you feel. I know you don't want to hurt her but you shouldn't lead her on either. Just explain it to her like you did on here and hopefully she will understand. Let her know how you feel about things. Good luck.

Yes, you should do everything in your power to meet her. It will be clear as to your feelings when you see her in real life. I have the same situation going, so maybe you'll let me know how it ends up. Best wishes

This happened to me but with a guy,on line and I told him how there is no way anyone can love someone they have never met.
So by him saying that I knew there is something wrong with him.
Got rid of him.
