I have a 6 year old pug and she is acting sick and uncomfortable. She keeps stretching, bowing (back legs up, front forward and out) and she has puked a couple of times. It's only been a couple hours since I noticed.

This has happed a couple of times before (1 and 2 years ago), and we took her to the vet. Both times they said she is dehydrated and gave her a shot of liquid under the skin on her back. I don't know if this is really nesessary, and she is not showing any other signs of serious dehydration.

Does anyone know what might be wrong?

Doesn't sound very normal to me, I would take her to the vet. A good way to tell if a dog is dehydrated is to lift the skin on the back of their neck....if it goes right back to the original spot very quick...they are most likely not dehydrated. If stands there...then they are. Could be many different things going on...worth it to have her looked at and have peace of mind.

my dog used to do that to.
well, fist if your dog eats grass befor she/he throws up the it is natural. Just make sure she has a fresh bowl of water every day with a couple of ice cubes and she will be fine in a day or two
