Check out www.rezap.com, they sell charger to charge normal disposable Alkaline battery (i.e. Duracell, Energizer). Anyone has tried it? Does the recharged battery holds good charge?

You can charge most any battery, carbon/zinc, alkaline, or whatever. BUT, it is not recommended and can be very dangerous. It does require a current limiting charger, so as not to over- charge them or they can explode. That is why many chargers have an LED in them. It is hooked to a current limiting resistor and as the battery charges, the in-put voltage is sent through the led and the resistor to ground.
Some alkaline batteries will take a charge or two (Raovac and Duracell seem to work best), but the amp/hr curve drops off pretty fast.
