I am not christian. I am a man, a schoolteacher, an Australian.
I follow a Buddhist doctrine and I am a Socialist (it's good to find someone else who will call themself a socialist Aussiechick).
Just for you christians, Jesus was a socialist too.

i came to the conclusion that no man on earth, ever will solve the questions i seek, is there a god? why does he allow suffering? if he does not exist how come only 10% of the entire universe is composed of the same matter as humans?, why are their near death experiences? shouldn't trauma have taken place to the brain pre death experience? why are their no atheist in fox holes? why are they even there? when i die, why do i lose all my memories, if this is it why? what is love? why is it unexplainable? if it does not exist why does this homo-sapian feel it? then i realized that once an absolute is "found" and is applied it then is no longer absolute.
like all things, paradox's are found, life is a paradox, reason, sanity, good and evil, and truth

Im non religious, but I guess I'm agnostic seeing that the reason I dont believe in any of the major religions is the fact that there is proof against each religons existence. Truly, Religion is a waste of time and money, when there are people out there starving, not doing anything, because they think "God" will save them. Its sad really.

i believe in a higher being, but do not believe that there is one religion out there that has it nailed..... i can just not see how a superior being would develop a system to spread his/her ideas that ignores 40-80% (depending on which religion you think is the right one) of mankind... if I had to pick one, it would be Buddhism, simple because it embraces other religions.....
