In my religion pets do not have a soul. They are on a different vibration level than us and they are here specifically to experience for God. Now, they can be our best friends, they can sense things well before they happen and they can be in tune to how we are feeling but they do not have soul. Only humans have souls. Our pets do get to meet back up with us again on the other side after we die. Kinda cool I thought. This religion I'm speaking of is called Gnostic Christianity. sorry, but no. At least, there is no evidence. You may wish it for the cute ones, but think of what the implications would be if every animal had a soul. Every creature in the earth, in the oceans, and in the air, including bugs. Maybe they do, and that is why the Universe is infinite and expanding, but I don't believe it.

What you believe depends on your religious background.

However, there is no doubt that higher animals such as dogs and cats have intelligence and emotion, are happy and sad, and love us unconditionally. To me, that makes them conscious Beings, and so I would say they do have souls.

In Buddhism and Hinduism it is accepted that animals have souls, though in the former animals are considered to have been born into one of the"four woeful planes," because they have no CONSCIOUS way of improving their situation in their next lives.

In Christianity it is a different matter altogether; only humans are supposed to have souls.

Pet does not have a soul, if they does, they will have to believe in Jesus as well to enter heaven. they only have physical body being, no soul. but God love them as well because He created them.

Animals do not have souls. Only humans have souls. Kinda sad really, cause I can't imagine afterlife without my "babies".
