I just received some home-grown tomatoes and made one with Mrs.Baird's Honey Nut-N-Oats bread with Lite Miracle Whip. It's delicious!!

This brings back memories of garden fresh tomatoes and homemade bread with Miracle Whip. Yes, it's a baconless BLT (well, I didn't toast it either). Yummmm.

Oh yes! Nothing better than a home grown tomato. I love to eat a open faced sandwich with just white(I know it isn't good for you) bread and a big tomato slice with salt.

I practically live on toasted tomato sandwiches in the summer, it's great because of the terrific taste of the garden fresh tomatoes and the miracle whip adds great flavor as well, and it's a perfect sandwich for hot weather.

Nothing better especially when you have tomato's fresh out of the garden. Toast the bread it's great either way. They make and awesome grilled cheese, use a slice of swiss or provolone, a slice of American and tomato's, butter on the bread and fry up, now that's a tasty treat. Now go and enjoy

I LOVE them for breakfast !
I toast the bread & put miracle whip on mine too & also a slice of cheese.
If I'm really hungry & going to have a long morning I make an egg & fold that on it too. Really keeps my blood sugar stable.
But it has to have fresh tomato's !
Sounds like great bread you used too.
I use a 7 grain health food bread.

I used to eat them all the time growing up. We had a garden, so during the summer we'd be up to our eyeballs in vegetables, especially tomatoes. We used to eat them warm from the garden, made with regular mayonnaise and on squishy white bread with some salt. They were so juicy, we had to stand over the kitchen sink to eat them...oh my God was that good. :)
