Does anyone have the 3 numbers for the credit beauru? Anyone know any legit sites that actually give free credit reports without a catch?

Under the FACT Act amendments to the Fair Credit Reporting Act you are entitled to one free credit file disclosure in a 12 month period. Be wary of Internet offers of free credit reports, as there's always a catch of some kind. According to the credit bureaus, there's only one legitimate site to get your free credit report:

www.annualcreditreport.com

Phone numbers for each of the credit bureaus are:

Equifax 1-800-525-6285
Experian 1-888-397-3742
TransUnion 1-800-680-7289

Go to https://www.annualcreditreport.com
once a year you can get a free report from all three companies and also view them online, and you'll be able to also dispute anything that's on your credit report. I think they let you have access to the sites for about 60 days. They will also send you monthly news letters as well and they do have the 1-800 numbers for each credit company on the sites whereas you can call the companies. If there is a problem with accessing your report online, they have a form that you can download and fill out and send to the company's address.
