My mom asked me this question while I we were sitting in the car and she was running her mouth.

If GOD said you could ask him one question, what would it be?


I immediately replied:

I'd ask God to give me the details and blueprints on how I could build a Faster than Light transportation device, possibly that would bend spacetime so that I could slip through from any one point to any other point in the entire universe. What would you ask?

She was stumped and took a minute to figure out what I just said. I think she'd ask him what god want's her to do with her life or something like that.

I did pray to God for wisdom...knowledge and understanding for a system that would by pass the utility companies, when they were turning off the utilities on people that could not afford to pay their utility bills...I was privately studing chemistry...physics and magnetic energy.in my spare time...He answered my prayers and I had a visionary dream that I put on paper when I awoke suddenly...it took me a couple of hours to design what I had dreamed...later I had it analized by a 30 year atomic nuclear physist...who worked for the government..."who told me it was 200 years ahead of its time...it only has two moving parts...it replaces the utility companies for energy and takes mankind out of the atomic nuclear era and places him into a non-nuclear era...it replaces electric motors and internal combustion engines...and opens up the door for space travels unlimitedness...by allowing us to utilize repulsionary fields in space to push us as far as we would like to go in space..." this is what he told me about the system that I layed out before him to analize...the same system that God answered my prayers about...he also said it would tople our economy if it were brought out...because...everything is built around petroleum products...so in answer to your question...yes God does answer prayers and I have that system your looking for and have dreamed about already...the last thing he told me was...people have disappeared or died for knowing less than what I do...Then your going to ask...why have I told you about it...and my answer is...I have lived a full life...and my children are grown...and if something happens because I told you about it...well...all I can say is...it was meant to be...Gods also answered my prayers inregards to a possible cure for cancer and aids...and any virus that's out there...I'm just looking for someone to progress forward with the knowledge that I have...for the betterment of mankind...!

Well, I don't think I could ask him anything while looking at Him face-to-face, I'd be too stunned and full of joy. The truth is, really, that you can ask Him anything you want, no matter what time of day. The trick is to be patient and wait for Him to answer. Sometimes He won't for a long time, some things we can't know for some time, otherwise something vital to His plan won't happen. Anyhows, I don't know much in this subject, but those are my beliefs. These are my two top questions. It'd be difficult for me to pick one:

I might ask him to show me His ten greatest works -- maybe they would be physical creations, maybe they would be particular occurrences, maybe they would be something so astonishing as that the human mind could never have grasped it without God's hand to guide us there.

Otherwise, I might ask Him if He could reveal to me the truth behind scientific theories -- how close or far off the path we were in figuring out how everything works, and what the answers are to current scientific mysteries.

What I want to know is this: Will scientists one day discover genes for all the behaviors that civilization deems to be against the law of man or nature, and does everyone has them to some degree? In other words, do people's genes predetermine them to be pedophiles? abusers? killers? rapists? adulterers? Furthermore, if that were to be found to be true could they then say, "I was made this way?" Is that a valid excuse for behaviorial sins against God's law?

I would ask him to provide the means for constructing a testable proof that he exists. I want to point out that I do intend to reproduce the "doubting thomas" scenario. I think this would be an interesting question, as it would instantly destroy the value of faith, and it would reveal a great deal about his intent: if he chose not to do it, then it would appear manipulative; if he chose to do it, I would wonder who would accept the answer. I think it would also reveal a lot about humanity. Plus it would keep them busy for a while and maybe both the sides in the middle east would forget about killing each other for a few years.

Your question to God would be pretty lame. God would answer your question simply as "NO!" You are asking God to GIVE you something, in which his reply would be "no." You would have to phrase your request in the form of a question, therefore God would have the option to accept or decline your request.

My question would be, providing he aswered it, "Can you tell me the team names of all the major sports champions for the next 50 years?"

You know how much money I could make? Sure I will probably go to hell when I died, but man, what a ride!

I'd ask him nothing because theres no need for asking....even in situations like you said in your details ''why do animals suffer''....Yes some things are harder than others to deal with and make people feel its worth questioning but theyre really not. People can be so damn selfish...you and I wouldnt even be breathing right now if it werent for Him. Why question AT ALL?

I would ask Him why, if we have proof of dinosaurs existing, do we believe in Him(I am Catholic, so I do)? I mean, He created the Earth in seven days and I am pretty sure that dinosaurs lived for more than six days. But I do believe in Him, no matter what.

And no, I'm not testing your faith and no, I wasn't sent to do it. I just would like to know why?

I would ask God if now I would finally be privvy to the "big picture". I would hope that I would now get to expand my previously limited human awareness to the true soul consciousness with the ability to truly open my mind and experience the absolute, as opposed to the dimension of relativity that we currently experience as our reality.
