Being the survivalist that I am. I would like to know.What is the shelf life of 1 pinto beans 2 great northern beans. I'm poor as poop and I get comodities and they give out these beans all the time how long can I store them

Keep them in an airtight container and they will last as long as you care to keep them. I had some kidney beans in a jar on a shelf for over five years. When I found them at last, I cooked them up, and they were fine. They did take a bit longer to cook, though.

About 2 years, if stored in dry cool conditions and in a sealed bag. I have seen them stored for as long as 5 years.

Keep them sealed and dry and away from bugs or rodents and they will keep almost as long as forever.
