Wow she really loves you. Maybe you should tell her that you need to grow up sometime and it won't help you if she is always there. Ask her what would happen when she is not there, and don't she thinks you are able to handle the situation. But let her know that you still need her and will come to her for help when you do.

Sounds to me that the way you wrote this maybe you don't totally disagree with your sister just the way she goes about it. If she is trying to help you and keep you from either getting hurt or into trouble count yourself lucky because so many have siblings that do not really care. If this is a real problem for you then sit her down and let her know even though you appreciate what she is trying to do you would prefer her to act more like a sister and less like a parent. If this does not work then go to your parents or some adult you are close with and explain the problem and get them to talk with her. Again if she is doing this out of love than maybe you should listen if not then get an Allie to help. Good luck

Listen to her and agree to make her happy then go do what u wanna do. She needs to let u live your life. Slavery is over. Respect ur parents but ur sister needs to back off. She probably means well but isnt going about it the right way.

I am, was, and will always be, an overprotective Big Brother.
I don't care if you don't listen to me or not, whether you ignore me or not is not going to change my being an overprotective butt-in-sky, who will be Mom, Dad, Grammy, Papi, Aunt Etta and Unca Willie all rolled into one if I see you doing something stupid!
And when you bump you hard head I'll be there to comfort you.
That's what older siblings do.
If they Love you.

Be thankful that you have a sister that cares about you so much! I would give anything to have my little sister around again to care about so much. Just think of it this way...if you were to wake up tommorow, and your sister was gone (never to be seen again which I hope would never happen to you) wouldn't you miss her, and her trying to protect you? She just does it because she cares so much. Embrace that, especially in your older years! And, tell her you love her!!!

Just block her out. I mean what harm can she do if she isn't actually your mom herself. If that doesn't work, then try talking to her nicely about it. Sit her down and say why are you always being way too over protective of me and see what she says and move on from there.

one day you'll understand why she's being protective. and if you'll listen to her, you'll thank her for what you will become in the future. she loves you so much that she wants the best things to come into your life. if she doesn't care about you and your future, she won't give a damn. it's not easy to watch over somebody and take care of them. but because of love, some people do.

i'm a big sister myself. that's why i know.

You shouldn't ignore her. Let her have her say because she loves you and wants what's best for her. She shouldn't be nagging you. If she's saying the same thing over and over again, tell her you love her, but she's repeating herself and you get the message. Weigh what she says; don't just dismiss her.

Don't ignore her, act as if her every whim is pure genious. If she's doing it because she cares, you might learn something. If she's doing it because she loves to hear the sound of her own voice, she'll get bored eventually and move on.

She is just trying to watch out for you because i am sure she has been there and done it. I felt the same way when I was a kid but I took me having kids of my own to make me see. But you are still a kid and will do what you want, but atleast listen to her.
