I wouldn't advise you to take out the splinter yourself because it sounds like it is already infected. You don't want to introduce more bacteria into your body. See a doctor it can be fixed fairly easily.

See a doctor, you could get an infection. If it is a splinter, they should be able to take it out easily with minimal pain. Hope everything's ok!

Burn the end of a sewing needle to sterilize it, dip it in alcohol, pick out the splinter, clean area with alcohol. If you don't want to do this see your doctor. I have done this many times.

If it's closed over, I wouldn't worry about it; if the blister is soft and able to pop, your risk of infection is higher and you should have it removed. Either your MD or dermatoloist should be able to do it right in the office.

Sterilize a needle in alcohol..get yourself some tweezers and start picking away. When it's out..put alcohol on it and then Neosporin ointment and a band aid. You'll be fine.

Get tweezers and a sewing needle and GET IT OUT! Clean it good with alcohol. If you soak the affected part in warm water your skin will soften and it will come out easier.
