Yes, but it is not wordperfect, its called OpenOffice, its 100% compatible with 99% word editors.

Almost all software companies offer you the option to download a fully functioning trial version of their software. Usually good for 30 to 90 days. At the end of that time you can buy it or uninstall it as it will quit being fully functional. Some may still work but you won't be able to print documents, etc. Just go to the company's web site and look for a download link.

No, but you can get a full retail version of it relatively inexpensively on ebay. Check the below link for an example.
