yes I have!! it has been about 8 yrs ago when my daughter and I were younger and we both had really long hair.
what you do is this: tie your hair in a pony tail, braid it, tie it again with a band. cut above the first tie. we did each other's and it was fun.
plus, it was for a great cause and they were very nice and sent us a card of thanks that my daughter treasured!
hope you can do it. you have to have a certain length of hair in order to do it.

I did a couple years ago cuz i hadnt really cut my hair until then, just kept getting it trimmed and it was like all the way down my back. I was going to do it again about two years later, but I had to have like a 1/2 inch more of hair, and I wanted to get it cut then.

I have twice, my hair grows pretty fast and healthy. I'd have enough hair to donate again if I hadn't cut it before I got deployed to Iraq. I'm short by about 3 inches now. My daughter is also growing her hair now so that she can donate.
Donated hair can be colored but not bleached and has to be at least 10 in.

I'd love to, but my hair is pathetic. It's never grown long enough to do it (at least not after I'd heard of locks of love).
But maybe I should - I've been thinking about going to short hair - maybe I'll check into it to see if I have enough to donate. Thanks for bringing this up! Always looking for ways to show my daughters how we can help others ;)

I tried to; had 14 inches cut off for the cause. The person who cut my hair screwed up, he washed it first and cut off the pony tail while it was wet. Has to be dry hair or else it gets moldy. So, I cut it off for nothing... so be careful!

Oh no I've never had good enough hair to give away. My hair is chemically dependant.

yes ! because you wash tour hair every 2 week in condition it to. keep it trimm and it will grow, remember to cut off the dead end that will stop it for growing now.
