white gals consider it bad , or the guy is a mommas boy etc... other than here in the u.s. it is looked upon as the correct thing to do. shows character and compashion. u.s. gals are money hungry, narsacistic, and self centered! i just dont get it.

Because white american people are always concerning about themselves. While the minority have family to bounce back on. Also the mass media shows it as a sign of a bad omen. You know a soap opera and 2 people care about each other and the couple runs off to get married even though their own family disagrees with them.

I'm a white woman and I totally love it when a man takes care of his parents. It shows respect, a caring nature and it shows he has a sense of responsibility to his parents. Nothing wrong with that in my books.
However, if the man is living with his parents, not pulling his weight (financially or physically) and is more a burden than a help.... then he is fooling himself if he says that he "looking after his parents." He's just a freeloader.

Please don't say all white girls, because I find that to be a man to take that kind of responsibility. If he didn't I'm not sure I would feel the same. My man is very close to his mom, but I would never consider him to be a "momma's boy". I think when someone is close to their family it is great, because if he thinks high of his family he will treat you the same.

I am from canada, I am a white girl and I think it is such a great thing that you are taking care of your parents! Keep it up. We need more people that actually give a damn in this world.

but seriously just a minority of girls are like that mostly all the girls i hang around with work for their money and don't do that maybe you should stop watching tv and go out into the real world or are you speaking from hurt

I don't see anything wrong with it. I myself came back home after twenty years to take care of my elderly parents who were in a horrible hit and run accident.

I think it's because those other ethnicitys are a little more family orientated and they don't take there family for granted.
