According to a man named Theodore Jennings certain parts of the gospel of John show that Jesus had a homosexual relationship.

Is this wrong?

Hey look at the history of the whole jesus thing. In the paintings he always were's a dress and um... has really long hair, not that that's a problem. But then again he did tend to invite imense amouts of men over to his house so that they could eat his skin and drink " bodily fluids" out of him.

Historically it would be a HARD theory to prove.

Theologically it has no signifigance whatsoever.

But socially - there are people who would be up in arms about this.

So is it wrong? It is certanly impossible to prove factually - which means that it could never be proven either right or wrong on that count. As for a less absolute deffinition of the word "wrong" that would probabbly depend on who you asked and what their homophobic tendancies were.

A better questions is: Who cares? And and even BETTER question is: WHY do they care?

Oh good grief - now that's ridiculous!!!! Like most of the other men of his time and rabbis - which is what he was - he was married and probably had a kid. There's compelling evidence and I'm NOT talking about the Da Vinci Code which is a work of fiction, that he was married to Mary Magdalene and they had a child.

King James was actually homosexual and also, he destroyed much of the original works so that no-one could question his commissioned translation, which met in secrecy, too.

So, it has nothing to do with Jesus being homosexual. It has to do with the possible tainting by the one who commissioned the translation.

Yes, this is completely and utterly wrong...
My reason:
In the bible, old testament somewhere... maybe proverbs.... It states that no man (or woman) may enter the kingdom of Heaven if they have relationships out side man/woman, woman/man.... such as man/man, woman/woman, man/dog, woman/dog, etc...

I can't remember where it is though.... I still am thinking the middle of proverbs...

yes that is wrong. that is blasphemous. the only thing i can imagine is back then it was customary to kiss a friend on the cheek to greet and the bible says jesus kissed on of the guys...12 disciples. it was a greeting or farewell custom.

I will not even dignify this question with an answer as you are not seeking any truth only seeking to offend.
