There are only contradictions to those who don't have God's spirit.

Because the bible isn't an accurate source of anything really. Fundamentalists seem to forget that the very beginning of the bible (Genesis chapters 1 and 2) contains conflicting stories on creation. Chapter 1 states that animals were created before man, and chapter 2 states that man was created before animals. It isn't out of context because THAT is what it says. Maybe if fundamentalists actually read the bible, they would have noticed that.

Perhaps any apparent contradictions are due to the inability of imperfect humans to understand the workings of God on His deepest levels. And I have to say, I am comforted by the fact that God so much more that I can understand. If I could understand everything about God and his will and works, he would not be a very awesome God.

The bible does not contradict itself. Most people don't actually read it and study it, therefore they are working with only a few "clues" which seem to be connected but somehow just don't add up. Upon further investigation, however, IT ALL COMES TOGETHER.

There aren't any contradictions. That's too easy to say, you need to have a discussion with someone who knows the bible so well they have memorized it, and understand its meaning. I know people who do. Then, you can learn something amazing about God and His word. I trust God, not na-sayers. Be blessed.

For everyone to question it
To open your mind
To research
And find your own truth
God gave us a wonderful mind to use so use it
Till all your questions have been answered until you find what fits within you as your truth.
Love & Blessings
