I'm about to enter my junior year in high school and I'm considering careers. I am really interested in anesthesiology and my favorite university has a program for that. Here are my questions:

-What do I need to do for my bachelor's degree?
-What is residency like?
-Is the job worth the money? (It should be as much as the salary is)
-Is the job too demanding for a husband and children?
-Will I be satisfied with my choice?

Please answer only if you know what you are talking about.

I believe you would be satisfied. They do get paid alot, but that will decrease if medicine is socialized. My grandpa was an anesthesiologist and he liked it. I think if you wanna help people, that's a great job. Ask yourself this, "can I measure and calculate accurately?" That question is important to know.
