A couple of different ways.

1. Right Click on any link and pick OPEN LINK IN NEW TAB.

2. Go to FILE menu and pick NEW TAB

You can close any tab, by right clicking on it and pick CLOSE TAB.

If you want a regular blank tab simply go to file > new tab

If you want to open up a link in a new tab you could:

-Right click on the link and "select open link in new tab"

-If your mouse has a scroll button, click on the link with the scrol button.

Either go to File then New Tab, Press Control + T, or (if you have it) put your mouse over a link and click the wheel in the middle (don't roll it, click it).
