it's not so much that as it is that fact that we r always at each others throats. he lost his job and he's in a bad mood all the time, so then he calls me a ***** and then i dont really know what to say to that. ( he only does it occasionaly)

Just say, Mom and Dad I need to talk to you. I want you to see my point of view. This is what it is..... - You will actually be shocked to see what happens if you try talking to them like adults. When kids whine or yell, Parents are less likely to listen and try to see your side. When you try to talk like a mature adult then the case may be different. They will see you as a young woman not a needy child! I hope this helps. Just remember your parents are people too. Not just your parents. They have thoughts, feelings and emotions too. Also, They have been thru more than you have and usually just want the best for you. I don't know your whole situation but I hope this helps a little.

maybe you need to try and see things from their point of view too. maybe they understand more about you than you give them credit for because you are too busy thinking about what you want and no about what their perspective might be, and why they might say the things they do.

i think what will help the situation most is if you change start think about how they feel, instead of just saying what you want all the time

don't u worry so much even my parents are like this.yesterday i asked my mom to explain me something but she understood it wrong and on top nof that my dad also supported her saying that u are non understanding jennie.
which shows that they are not concerned about my openion.i think u are also facing simillar situations so make your parents understand the real thing behind all the fuss.

Are you seeing it from your parents' point of view. Try that and see how it works.
