My puppy is afraid of water and doesnt like taking baths.

just put an inch in the tub to start with and dont try to bathe it, just let it stand in the water, slowly over time , increase the water, then scoop some up and put on its back. you might do this every day, make sure the water is a comfortable temperature.

Just start by adding just a little bit of water in the tub. Don't get water in her eyes and make sure that you keep telling her that it's okay. Until she is used to it, make them quick and show her that it is not going to hurt her. After the bath wrap a warm towel around her and then hold her and tell her that she was a good puppy. Use lots of praise and kind words for her.

This is pretty normal for puppies, but they get used to it. We have 7 dogs and average 4 litters per year (That's a lot of puppy baths!) You have to make it a good experience (ie. tell him good boy, and give him a treat when he does well, make sure taht he knows you are pleased!) All my dogs love baths now, and even love chasing and getting sprayed with the hose outside.

try getting in the bath tub with him/her. give him/her treats while giving it a bath and praise the dog while taking a bath. Be calm and use a soothing voice. Let the dog know this is a good thing and treats will let them know they are doing something good.

Place your pup in an empty tub and use a bathing hose to wet your pup. Don't wet your pups head with the hose. Use a cloth instead. Set the water temp warm, not too hot or too cold.

I would probably start out with a wet wash cloth with dog shampoo on it and wash her that way then work up to baths.

all u have to do is to train the dog to sit,stay,and ,lay then u will be able to give her or him a bath

start out with alil water at a time and each time you give her a bath add alil more!
