No man can see God and live. It's in the Bible. However, He did show Moses His "goodness" on the mountain.
You're praying with the wrong motives. Praying should be a time of fellowship with God, not just demands. Learn to hear His voice and feel His prescence.

God cannot be where sin is. Sin separates us from God. He is all good, and he can't be where bad is. That does not mean that He will not reveal himself to you, though. But generally, He will not appear directly before you, mostly because it would kill you. In the old testament, He appears before Moses, but only His backside, because if Moses were to see him face on, it would be too overwelming and kill him. If you are really searching, be sensitive and God will reveal himself in more subtle ways than you might think. Also in the bible is when He showed himself to Elijah. There was a huge thunderstorm and a huge earthquake, but God was not in these things; He was in the gentle wind. That shows something about God's character.

Ok I'm guessing this question might be just sarcasm, but hell, I'll try and answer.

I'd bet that the phrase "made in his image" isn't referring to the physical body, but instead to the soul/spirit/whatever you want to call it. Therefore God techniqually doesn't have a face to show. And since you can't see spirits (unless you want to get into the whole ghostly apparitions aspect), God can't - or won't, because there's nothing he can't do - phsyically appear before you. I could be wrong, that's just my theory though.

God doesn't always answer our prayers with a yes, but He will always answer them. In the Bible, people who looked God in teh face died because of His holiness. Moses spent 40 days on the top of a mountain with God, but was never able to look Him face to face. He had his back to God, yet his face glowed when he came down off the mountain because of the brightness of God's glory. And think about it: why would the creator of the entire Universe be afraid to show His face to you? That just doesn't make any sense to me!

Just because he won't appear before you does not mean he is scared. You can't handle his face. The bible says the God is so holy that you will die if you look at him. Always remember God will say NO if he thinks it is wrong for you or you need to wait. Maybe he is trying to protect you.

HE won''t show HIS face because it will destroy you. For the same reason you cannot pray to GOD for a cape and leotards and expect to leap over tall buildings in a single bound.

Ask for something spiritual like more faith or wisdom. Those are things GOD would love to give you.

In the image of His spirit.........have you seen your spirit lately? Some day we will all bow down before God. Who will be afraid to "show their face" then? Don't know God? He may not know you then either. Keep praying.

It hasn't appeared to you because it is you. You will never find it by looking outward, by separating it from what you are. Any beliefs you have about what it is or isn't will only hinder you finding, and being it. Open your mind and then look beyond the mind. (Have you ever heard of advaita vedanta? If you need a way to "get" there, this philosophy may help...But at some point you will need to look beyond the philosophy, beyond all philosophies (which includes any religion)...anything outside yourself.

Why have you not asked what is faithful, When you continue to ask what you know will not be answered, to continue to do so. Well.

When prayers are asked in faith and it is wisdom you ask for that you will recieve, however if it is a question not based on faith you might as well ask for lotto numbers.

If asking for something like that why not seek out a palm reader.

Don't ask foolish questions, God will not be mocked.
