I don't think there is a "best" cereal. They all have merit for different reasons, e.g., nutrition, fiber, taste, texture, etc. I once had a friend over for dinner and we just ate cereal. Our "entree" cereal was KIX and our "dessert" cereal was Lucky Charms. But I love so many kinds, I love Frosted Mini Wheats, Froot Loops, Wheaties, Wheat Chex, etc. and so forth, so I can't give you a straight answer. I even love oatmeal!! Am I a freak?

You mean a brand or a specific type such as corn flakes, oat bran flakes, fruit and bran flakes, or raisin bran flakes?

Well, I am not into adevrtising but so far the best brand that I have ever tried when it comes to quality and nutritional value, is Kelloggs... I patronize most of their breakfast cereals. Eat it with soy milk or nonfat milk.. healthy breakfast treat! Good way to start the day

The Cheerios with the dried strawberries or mixed berries in it is just awesome. Eat it with some vanilla soy milk and it's probably the healthiest and best tasting breakfast you can have on the fly.

Oatmeal. ( Cook it yourself is the best nutritionally )
It is all around good for you. Fiber, carbs, some protein, none of the excess preservatives or high sugar or fat content. Easy to make in the microwave. ( do make sure you cook in a bowl that will not overflow )

Vector. Has vanilla clumps and flakes. They sell it only in Canada and I live in the US so I have to beg my friends to pick me up a few boxes when they visit. I'm ok with it if they think it's a little weird....
