grapefruit is a very healthy citrus fruit...although i wouldn't buy into the whole 'grapefruit diet' thing. i would just look at it as what it is: i healthy, fresh, and sweet/tangy fruit that is wonderful for your body.

I have also heard most of this. Did you know they even make grapefruit pills for people that want to do the grapefruit diet but don't like the taste of grapefruits? I myself, prefer to drink grapefruit juice. Not sure if it is the grapefruits, but I have been losing weight with them too.

It does help the skin, except when sour. The white variety, is often sour. I prefer the ruby red kind. It does help burn fat, if it's all you eat. But who can only eat a grapefruit half? YOu ahve to eat 2 to 4 halves. The Ruby Red Variety tastes the best! The juice is wonderful!

No food or pill will burn fat, only excercise. If you like grapefruit, it benefits you to include it in your diet for the vitamin C factor. I haven't heard any proof that it clears acne. Keep oily hands off your face to limit acne. If you eat a well balanced diet your body will also benefit, which includes your skin.

grapefruit is good for you and is a chosen fruit by dieters because it is high in fiber and low in sugar. it is also high in vitamin C. grapefruit is a guiltless food.
