Italian S'mores Recipe courtesy Giada De Laurentiis
Recipe Summary
Difficulty: Easy
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Yield: 24 s'mores
User Rating:
1 baguette, cut into 24 (1/2-inch thick) slices
3 tablespoons butter, melted
3 tablespoons sugar
2 (3-ounce) bars gianduja chocolate or semisweet chocolate with hazelnuts, broken along the indentations into 24 pieces
24 large marshmallows
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Line a large baking sheet with a silicone baking mat, parchment paper, or foil. Arrange the bread slices on the baking sheet. Generously brush the butter over the bread slices. Sprinkle the slices with sugar. Bake until the crostini are crisp and golden, about 15 minutes.
Arrange the chocolate pieces in a single layer atop the crostini. Skewer 1 marshmallow onto each of 6 skewers. Roast the marshmallows directly over a campfire until toasted to desired doneness. Push 1 roasted marshmallow atop the chocolate on each crostini and serve. Repeat to make 24 s'mores total.
Alternative: Chocolate-hazelnut spread (such as Nutella) may be used instead of the chocolate bars. To do so, omit coating the bread slices with sugar before baking them, and spread about 2 teaspoons of the chocolate-hazelnut spread over each crostini before topping it with the roasted marshmallows.

i_love_my_dog said it right. Make them around a campfire. They taste so good that way you will remember them for years. Nothing fancy just graham crackers, Hershey bars and marshmallows will do fine! Roast the marshmallows over the fire and place them along with some Hershey bar between two graham crackers.
Yummy!

Roast a marshmallow, place it on a graham cracker, top with a piece of a Hersey Chocolate bar and finish with another cracker.
(traditional recipe) Come on..... tell me that you didn't know how to do that.
Updated version:
Spread some Marshmallow fluff on a graham cracker, top with the chocolate square or some chocolate chips, finish with another cracker and pop into microwave on a dish and mic for 10 sec.
My favorite version:
Place a peep with chocolate on inside on large graham cracker and top with another cracker. Place in microwave for 10 sec. and enjoy!

I am not too familiar with variations on the traditional chocolate-marshmallow-graham cracker recipe, but I sometimes use Caramilk instead of plain chocolate.
Maybe a fondue variation? Marshmallow in chocolate fondue then sandwiched with the graham crackers?

Sensational S'More Torte
* CAKE
* 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
* 3/4 cup NESTLÃ TOLL HOUSE Baking Cocoa
* 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 1/2 cups sour cream
* 2/3 cup butter, softened
* 2 large eggs
* 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
* FILLING
* 2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) NESTLÃ TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Morsels
* 1 pkg. (3.5 oz.) vanilla instant pudding and pie filling mix
* 1 cup cold milk
* 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
* 1 container (12 oz.) frozen whipped topping, thawed
* 4 cups miniature marshmallows, divided
* 16 whole graham crackers
* 10 fudge-covered graham crackers or 5 squares chocolate graham crackers
Directions:
FOR CAKE:
PREHEAT oven to 350° F. Grease and line bottom of two 8-inch-square cake pans with parchment paper.
COMBINE flour, sugar, baking cocoa, baking soda and salt in large mixer bowl. Beat in sour cream, butter, eggs and vanilla extract until just moistened. Beat on medium speed for 3 to 4 minutes or until light in color. Spoon into prepared pans.
BAKE for 40 to 45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans on wire racks for 10 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
FOR FILLING:
MICROWAVE morsels in microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100%) power for 1 Minute; STIR. Morsels may retain some of their shape. If necessary, microwave at additional 10- to 15-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
COMBINE pudding mix and milk in large mixer bowl. Beat for 2 minutes or until thickened. Beat in cream cheese. Fold in whipped topping. Fold in 3 cups marshmallows.
SLICE each cake layer in half horizontally. Place two layers, side-by-side, cut-side-down on large serving platter. Spread 1/2 the melted chocolate over the cake layers. Lightly press half the graham crackers into melted chocolate, cutting crackers to fit. Spread 1/2 the filling over graham crackers. Repeat with remaining cake layers, melted chocolate, graham crackers and filling, covering tops only, not sides of cake.
COARSELY chop chocolate covered graham crackers. Sprinkle over top of torte. Sprinkle with remaining marshmallows. Refrigerate for at least 5 hours or overnight.
