Yes, Jesus clearly stated that He did not know the day or hour when the event would occur. This knowledge, He indicated, was limited to the Father. I suspect that it's not because Jesus can't know, but rather that He defers His ability to know to His Father. Remember when Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane, He asked that the "cup" be taken from him (i.e., that He not have to experience the agony of the cross); ultimately, however, he said "Not my will but Yours be done."
Of course, this does not diminish the deity of Christ. In Colossians 2:9, Paul writes that in Christ "the entire fullness of God's nature dwells bodily." Of course, Isaiah calls him the "Mighty God" and the "Everlasting Father."
Further, Colossians 1:16-18 states as follows:
16 "because by Him everything was created,
in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible,
whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—
all things have been created through Him and for Him.
17 He is before all things, and by Him all things hold together.
18 He is also the head of the body, the church;
He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead,
so that He might come to have first place in everything."

Of course he has limited knowledge, did he not say so?
All he knew was what the Father told him. He never claimed he is the father... he is like the Father . Just look at the prayer he taught to the deciples... it starts with OUR FATHER WHO ' S IN HEAVEN
that says he is not the father and as such he does not know everything like the father knows everything. The father can't be in heaven and he is on earth too , but some preachers want to say that he is all over anyway so it can be that he is praying to himself too... but then i would rather take Jesus words for it.
He is praying to the father in heaven because he is not the father. The Father knows everything not Jesus. A lot of religious teaching differes from my personal point of view , so you might not even take me seriously because i am not a pastor nor a priest. I am a woman , a dentist and a wife. But i have formed my own beliefs...take it or leave it.Your question is not offensive at all , it is a very good one too.

The bible was written a long time ago, by many different people, and much of it has been removed and is no longer part of the current bible. Some was in greek, and some in latin. And both languages have been translated and changed many times. So, it can be confusing, and it is not literally true after all of that.
What is important to realize is that God decided to experience life as a person, in order to realize what it is like to be limited, human, frail and afraid. An all powerful and all knowing god does not have the perspective to see how limited beings must live. So, God decided to be born, as Jesus, and live with that limited pespective, including not knowing everything.

That's a good question. His knwoledge isn't limited but when it comes to the hour of judgement that he's speaking about in that scripture, only God knows. It's like God is the Commander and Jesus is His head general. Jesus is waiting for the Commander's word when to move. What we need to be concerned with is at Matthew 24:37-39 and Matt 24:44

I seriously believe that that phrase was snuck into the NT by somebody who wanted to enrich his descendents. I mean, look at all the money that the "end times" peddlars are making! And let's not forget Big Pharma, selling stuff to soothe people who have been totally petrified by fear that he's gonna come Any Minute Now, and all the guns and ammo bought and sold by the folks who are bunkering down to wait for the Big Day. And of course, who cares about global warming if we're going to all get 'raptured' away anyway?
It makes Baby Jesus cry.

JESUS was taught by the HOLY SPIRIT,and when HE got old enough to learn how to read, the Scripture's and the HOLY SPIRIT. Only the FATHER know's when the DAY and HOUR is, but WE can know the SEASON. JESUS knew what the HOLY SPIRIT taught HIM, but the FATHER Reserved the DAY and HOUR to HIMSELF. It's like a Football Game, there is OFFICIAL TIME, when the Clock is running, then there is TIME-OUT, when the Clock is Stopped. The FATHER Control's the TIme's, only HE knows. Hope this helps. Ditto.......

This verse is talking about the second coming of Christ. When is going to happen? Even Chirst does not know. The Father will tell Him when it is time. So in that way, Jesus' knowledge is limited.

That is a tricky one. He must have known because he was "god" in human form. But it does say, nor the Son.
But you never really know answers like this untill you are in heaven. Honestly, does it really matter? I think about questions like this all of the time and sometimes I drive myself(and friends) nuts. I figure it is better not to know. Because once you are positive about a matter like this, religion becomes mean. You know what I mean?

He was certainly physically limited in His human form. I can imagine God, His Father limited His knowledge a bit as well. There are just some things we cannot explain.
